We recommend using 10 or 12 lb. springs with compensators and internally compensated slides.
Please note that in order to use any of these recoil springs, you will need to use our two-piece guide rod system (included). Individual springs ARE NOT compatible with the factory, captured recoil spring assembly.

Please exercise caution when installing this recoil tuning kit. The springs are un-captured and since they are longer, they 'feel' a little stiffer on install (when compared to the OEM captured setup). They will require a proper technique / alignment during installation. Please refer to the short video clip in the above image gallery to see the correct technique.
